Hey guys, in this video I show you how to open a Star Wars action figure without damaging the card back or bubble. So after I opened and resealed my Star Wars Vintage Collection R2-D2 I had a few requests to show how I did it so cleanly.

I am sure there are other videos out there on how to open Star Wars figures neatly (in fact I know there is), but I thought I would do my own.

Opening figures without any damage is a great way to either preserve the card back for your collection or to reseal another figure inside. Some Star Wars collectors like to put Vintage figures inside modern card backs, or even custom figures. Myself I just wanted to a clean R2-D2 on classic Vintage kenner card and as you know Hasbro decided to put a weather one in. So now I have the best of both worlds!

The First One Hundred is a Full complete documentary made by Peter Costa in which the history of the vintage kenner action figures is explored as well as the phenomenon that the Star Wars movies unleashed since the release in the 1980s.
